The tour begins with your Pick Up at 8:15AM at specific point.
When in the bus, a short tour briefing before departing for the Maya City of AltunHa.
This is a one-hour journey covering 31 miles north of Belize City near Rock Stone Pond Village, here one walks and hikes around the two main plazas and some thirteen temples and residential structures. One gets to enjoy a detailed history of our country and the Maya Civilization on the way. A complete tour of the site is done in one hour and a half.
There is an abundance of wild life and lush tropical vegetation that one gets the opportunity to see. After the tour we travel for fifteen minutes to a local restaurant for lunch. It is time to go and visit the Black Howler Monkeys. A forty-five minutes journey takes you to the Bermudan Landing Village where the sanctuary is located. A one-hour hike takes us through a network of jungle/ nature trails displaying many of Belize’s fauna and flora whilst spotting monkeys at close range. At the end of the hike we return to specific point Drop Off.
