The tour begins with your Pick Up at 8:15AM at specific point.

When in the bus, a short tour briefing before departing for the Maya City of Xunantunich.

It takes 1hour and 45min. to reach the site. Along the way one gets to enjoy a detailed history of our country and the Maya Civilization while passing through the many villages along the Western Highway. This journey takes us to the twin towns of Santa Elena and San Ignacio, then onto the village of San Jose Succots where we will be crossing a river on a hand cranked ferry. A complete tour of the site is done in one hour and a half.

There is an abundance of wild life and lush tropical vegetation that one gets the opportunity to see in the mountainous Rain Forrest, then its time to travel for fifty minutes back to the restaurant. After lunch a short hop over to the Belize Zoo.

A one-hour drive down the Western Highway covers 29mls to the zoo. An hour and a half tour of the exhibits of our local animals and birds, which are all accommodated in their natural habitats and they are all native to Belize. You can find our national symbols and they are: Tapir, keel billed toucan, Mahogany Tree and the black orchid flower.

After the tour we have now become familiar with the animals of Belize. At this time you head back to specific point Drop Off.
